1 decagram is 154.32349 grains or 0.321 oz troy or 0.022 pounds of whar. 1 hectogram is 1,543.23488 grains or 3.215 oz troy or 0.220 pounds of whar or 0.00100 weight. 1 kilogram is 15432.34880 grains or 32.150 oz troy or 2.204 pounds of whar or 0.01900 weight. Measures of Length 1 mm is 0.03937 inches or 0.003 feet or 0.001 yards.
1 cm is 0.39371 inches or 0.032 feet or 0.010 yards. 1 decam is 393.70790 inches or 32.808 feet or 10.936 yards or 0.006 miles. 1 m is 39.37079 inches or 3.280 feet or 1.093 yards. 1 decimeter is 3.93708 inches or 0.328 feet or 0.109 yards. 1 hectometer is 3937.07900 inches or 328.089 feet or 109.363 yards or 0.062 miles.
1 km is 39370.7900 inches or 3.280.899 feet or 1093.633 yards or 0.621 miles. Board and Timber Measure In board measure, boards are assumed to be 1 inch in thickness. To compute the measure of surface in square feet, when all dimensions are in feet, multiply the lengths by the breadth and the product will give the surface required. When either of the dimensions are in inches, multiply as above and divide by 12.
When all dimensions are in inches, multiply as before and divide product by 144. Timber Measure To compute the volume of round timber, when all dimensions are in feet, multiply the length by the square of one quarter of the main girth and the product will give the measurement in cubic feet. When length is given in feet and girth in inches, multiply as before and divide by 144. When all dimensions are in inches, multiply as before and divide by 1728.
Solid or Hew timber is measured by the cubic foot. To compute the volume of square timber, when all dimensions are in feet, multiply the product of the breadth by the depth by the length and the product will give the volume in cubic feet. When either of the dimensions are in inches, multiply as above and divide the product by 12. When any two of the dimensions are in inches, multiply as before and divide the product by 144.
